I'm so glad you're here!
I know some of the info on this page is in the "about" and "purpose" sections of the homepage, but a broader range of my interests/likes can be found below.
Some of my bigger and more "defining" interests, though, pertain to my future career. I'm currently working towards getting my MS degree in Clinical Psychology so I can administer psychological assessments (and maybe some therapy) to children and adolescents. Through my undergraduate years and by having younger brothers I've learned I enjoy working with kiddos in that stage of life, and it's also very fulfilling and rewarding! Importantly, I also have a very strong belief in healing and growth, so I particularly want to work with kids who have suffered trauma and abuse. It's a heavy population to work with, but someone's got to do it, so why not me?

I also like writing. Like, a lot.
I do a lot of writing, some journaling, but usually my lengthier works are fiction and my poems are based on personal experiences. Right now I have two stories in particular that I'd really love to turn into novels, but I'm kinda busy with, like, grad school... and everything....
- I LOVE MY LOCAL SCENE!!! There's so many incredible and talented people who make music, make art, make zines and write, who dance and mosh and hype up others, it's a very amazing place to be.
- My cousin Felix and I were introduced to our local scene in September of 2022. Since then, my love for punk/goth DIY has only grown.
- A few bands to check out include: Lithium Bath and Pirinola, Tela Bella, Fervence, Heeter, Ratt Maker, Adaloe, Primo Danger, and Lone Star Caviar. Some of their music might be playing on some of my website's pages....
- Wanna see how cool everyone is? A lot of the photos I take are at local shows. Check out my photo gallery to see all the cool people!
Thanks for stopping by! --Abel★
